Well, hello folks!
The day I was at the conference, you not only retook the quiz (which we will grade together on Monday), but you also began the process of transforming your persuasive essays into speeches! You recieved a handout that detailed the particulars of the process, and a checklist, which you should begin immediately!
You need to
1) put your speech onto note cards (which it looks like many of you did, since I don't have any note cards left)
2) practice your speech 20 different times, with 20 different people! Yes, different people! You see 15 spaces for peers - each one has to be a different kid! You also see 5 spaces for adults; those can be repeated.
You need to have practiced your speech 20 times before Wednesday! The completed sheet is a homework grade!
